Justice Connect is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.

  • Legal help for small businesses and farms affected by natural disasters

We are making sure small businesses, farms and other primary producers can access free legal help, as well as individuals.

If you are an individual looking for legal help, you can make a submission through our regular application process.

    Is my business eligible?

    • Do you run a business, with 20 employees or less, in an area that was impacted by bushfires or floods?
    • Was your business negatively impacted by bushfires or floods?
    • Are you dealing with a legal problem because of bushfires or floods?
    • Are you finding it harder to resolve a legal problem because of bushfires or floods?
    • Would your business struggle to pay for legal help?

If you answered yes to most of these questions, your small business or farm is probably eligible for some free legal help from Justice Connect.

If your small business or farm is already getting legal help from a private lawyer, you can get a grant of Legal Aid to cover some of the cost instead.

How we use and what we do with your personal information
